Na de laatste post, is er weer van alles gebeurd.

We kwamen er snel achter dat se mc5 met compressor / supercharger olie en koelvloeistof lekte... na wat onderzoek tot de conclusie gekomen dat er een klem niet goed zat en dat ik vergeten was de krukaskeering te vervangen! STOM!!

Alles weer uit elkaar gehaald, klem correct gemonteerd en krukaskeering vervangen. Alles weer monteren en testen, Hoera!!! ze lekt geen vloeistoffen meer!!! Tijd om de motor af te stellen...

After the last post, we took here for a little spin.

We found out that she was leaking oil and coolant... After a inspection we found that one coolant hose did not have a clamp, and that we forgot to replace the crankshaft seal!!! so stupid!

Well we disassembled everything again, mounted the clamp and replaced the crankshaft seal and drive belt. Once all mounted, the leaks where gone. YES!!! time to tune!

We connected the laptop, and let her run a little while on "auto tune" in TunerStudio MS (of course with a warm engine). Throttle is responding better then before.

Alright, so we finally got to do the first start yesterday!!!

After mounting the supercharger belt, Intercooler and putting all the fluids, it was time. Moment of truth...
Would the supercharged miata run?

I first did a start without a spark, just to make sure everything is running free. That went fine. Next step, the real start! i turned the key, and she started!!!!

Only problem, when i push the throttle, she drops dead.... i checked the AFR while running idle, which is 17, so to lean.

Zo eindelijk begint er een eind aan te komen! Hopelijk gaat alles goed en start de mx5 met compressor / supercharger straks in 1 keer!

Eindelijk mijn D2 olie opvang tank gemonteerd. Plekje zoeken was moeilijk. Uiteindelijk gemonteerd voor het rechter voor wiel. Daar zat nog een gat, van een vroegere lucht inlaat systeem.

Finally had time to mount my D2 Racing oil Catch tank. It was one hell off a job to find a good place for it.
Eventually i mounted it in front op the right side wheel. There was a hole i once made for the air duct.

Heb een neppe D1 olie opvang tank op ebay gekocht... Moet zeggen ziet er best goed uit!

Bought a very fake D1 oil Catch tank from ebay I must say, does not look bad!
