How to replace / upgrade disk brakes and pads from a mazda MX5 NB FL / MK2.5

Stuff you need:

- Wrench size 14
- Wrench size 12
- Grease
- Jack
- Big pliers
- Flash light
- extra bolt (size unknown)

Well lets start with putting the car on handbrake and in gear. Also smart to put something in front of the tires so the car cannot move ones jacked up. Now jack the car and remove the tire.

 Now with a size 14 wrench, unscrew and remove the 2 bolts as shown below.

Now you may remove the first part of the brake system. You can put it aside for now.

Now you may remove the old pads, and put them aside.

Unscrew the 2 bolts as shown below with a size 14 wrench.

If the disks are stuck, there is a small hole you can put a screw in. When tightening the screw, the disk will come loose.

Now from the old pads, remove the small metal indicator and place it on the new pad, as shown below.

Now place the new disk and pads, and mount the second brake part back. Now is the important part!
PLace grease on the pads as shown below!

Use the pliers to push the brake cylinder back in.

Mount the brake cylinder, and one side is done!!! Repeat the steps on the other side, and your mazda MX5 NBFL / MK2.5 will brake again!

When pressing the brakes the very first time, they might feel very light. If they do, just brakes a couple of times, and they wil function normaly again.
