–    1 extra console.
–    7″ touchscreen
–    Extra casing for 7″ touchscreen (if available)

–    Spray plaster
–    Dremel multi tool
–    sand paper
–    old soldering iron.
–    Spray can silver paint.
–    Kit (Universal glue. The best is TEK7, but it is not available in every country!)
–    And lots of patience!!!
–    TIP:    Always try first on a piece u do NOT need!!!

Step 1:
You start with cutting away all the plastic parts you do not need. Every now and then you try to fit the screen. If you want to have a Head unit under the screen, then you also remove that part.

Step 2:
When you have removed everything that needed to be removed, you can solder/ melt the front of the screen to the console. This we do to make it stronger! Watch out that you do not damage the inside of the screen case! The screen still needs to fit into it!!!
With the parts you removed, you can close holes and make modifications to make the radio fit stable. And of course try to fit the radio several times.

Step 3:
When al of that is done, it is time to kit the sides. Make sure you fill of all the holes. And don’t forget to smoothen out the front. You can do this bij putting your finger in soapy water, so the kit won’t stick to them!

Step 4:
You start with taping off the parts you do not want anything to happen to (like the inside of the screen). Now it is time to start using the multiplast. You can put this stuff into the corners, and mold it anyway you want. TIP: Don’t use to much hardener, then you can still mold it!
Now you let this dry, and then you start sandpapering! When it is smooth, you redo the process, until the desired effect is accomplished.

Step 5:
When the hole thing is the way you want it, you can use the Spray plaster to fill the small holes. when that is dry, start sand papering again. And now it is the usual… Repeat the process, until it is perfect.

Custom console

Step 6:
Now it is ready to be sprayed. Once sprayed you can place it in to the car. Watch out because the screen is fragile!!! It could be that you still have to make some modifications behind the console, but this depends on the car.
